After fresh snow fell last night and this morning, the council has increased its levels of gritting to keep the borough moving. Council gritters completed three gritting runs last night, spreading 50 tonnes of grit over Harrow’s roads. Snow is expected to ease later today with further gritting levels to be determined by weather conditions.
55 schools are open, with ten likely to close early.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, there will be no special needs transport today.
The bins service is currently running as normal but collection will be subject to local access to roads. An update will follow.
